Matrine Extract is an alkaloid sourced from the root of Sophora flavescens,which is a typical Chinese medicine.
It is a natural plant-based pesticide with low toxicity to humans. It is a broad-spectrum insecticide with a label and stomach poison. It has obvious control effects on various crops, cordyceps, aphids, and red spiders.
It is also used to treat viral hepatitis, enteritis, cancer, and viral myocarditis. It has strong antitumor activity in vivo and in vitro. Inhibition of cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis are possible mechanisms of antitumor activity of matrine extract.
